Perth Platinum

Do Perth Platinum coins have minute dents on them?
I mean not visable to the naked eye, but when using a 20-30x maginifier there are hundreds of small 'holes' that are not on other mirror finish gold coins.
So do Platinum coins have this problem or is the coin a dud?

Sight unseen, it's hard to say what's wrong, but I wouldn't worry as long as the weight and dimensions check out. Maybe they didn't use enough grease when striking? Poor annealing? Anyone else have a guess?
